Only a Couple Days till the Smoking Restriction

So, St. Louis has adopted a smoking ban for all restaurants and bars, with only a small number exemptions. I am so sick and tired of my human rights being abolished, I am tired. I do not understand the reason non-smokers have such a sharp personal judgement on what us smokers are doing. I understand that smoking is bad, but I made a conscience selection when I began smoking, alert to the fact it was bad. Just because non-smokers want me to stop, will not mean that it’s going to happen. Smoking in restaurants has been a favor, but most restaurants provide a special smoking area. If you don’t want to smell the smoke, don’t sit in the smoking area, you are not forced to sit in smoking. And as well as the jobholers of these pubs that argue they are distressed by second hand smoke, prove it. I worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years, and I know that most of thepeople I worked with were smokers.  Dealing with the public, tends to, initiates you to inhale.  Personally, I have never heard any non-smoking co-worker ever protest about second hand smoke while working in the smoking area. Putting a smoking restriction in restaurants and bars, will only save me money, for I will not dine out after the the new year.
