So, St. Louis has adopted a smoking ban for all restaurants and bars, with only a small number exemptions. I am so sick and tired of my human rights being abolished, I am tired. I do not understand the reason non-smokers have such a sharp personal judgement on what us smokers are doing. I understand that smoking is bad, but I made a conscience selection when I began smoking, alert to the fact it was bad. Just because non-smokers want me to stop, will not mean that it’s going to happen. Smoking in restaurants has been a favor, but most restaurants provide a special smoking area. If you don’t want to smell the smoke, don’t sit in the smoking area, you are not forced to sit in smoking. And as well as the jobholers of these pubs that argue they are distressed by second hand smoke, prove it. I worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years, and I know that most of thepeople I worked with were smokers. Dealing with the public, tends to, initiates you to inhale. Personally, I have never heard any non-smoking co-worker ever protest about second hand smoke while working in the smoking area. Putting a smoking restriction in restaurants and bars, will only save me money, for I will not dine out after the the new year.

Only a Couple Days till the Smoking Restriction
Tuesday, December 29th, 2009All I need for Christmas: Cigars!
Friday, December 18th, 2009I have concluded this year to plead for basic Christmas Gifts that my wife can pick out easily for me. My selection, as always, is my well-beloved smoke from copenhagen-tobacco.com. She doesn’t even have to leave the apartment, she can go on the internet (I have all my favorites sites saved) and place the order there. As far as more gifts, she can go to the nearest shop and pick out a gift. She mentions every year that I am utterly baffling person to shop for. But we have been married for about 15 years! And if she doesn’t know the things I like by now, I quit. I constantly mention every year, “I want smokes”, I smoke 1 or 2 in a day, and that adds up. I have a humidor for keeping my smokes, “what’s that for?” she askes. Well my sweetheart, it’s to keep my smokes refreshed. So, if you get me some for the holiday I can store them in there for a few months and remove a stogie when I am wanting to fancy one. Although I have to say, I got blessed last year, she bought me a lighter that was ingraved with my initials. The year before, she gave me a fishing pole, because I said I would like to go fishing again someday. Well, I went fishing once in two years, but guess what, I still smoke 1-2 smokes in a day. In the end what do I want for the holiday this year? I want Cigars, and whatever else would just be an secondary pleasure.
